RCB set a target of 197 runs, and CSK did not reach the set target, scoring 146 runs with 8 wickets in hand.
After being asked to bat first against CSK, RCB scored an impressive 196/7.
The innings was constructed around the cornerstone of middle-order batters who also scored crucial runs after early losses in the form of Patidar’s maintenance knock of 51 runs off 32 balls.
Patidar executed his innings at a very brisk pace of 159.38, scoring four boundaries and three sixes.
Along with the impressive innings from Tim David, who scored 8 runs, RCB’s Tim David scored an astounding 22 runs off 8 balls which helped RCB maintain their run rate despite losing several key wickets.
